Copyright & Takedown Policy

App-foxy operates as an informational platform for Android and iOS applications. We do not host any downloadable content, application installation files, or software directly. Our role is to catalog publicly available app listings, primarily linking to official sources such as the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

We are committed to upholding copyright protection standards and follow relevant legal frameworks, including:

  • The U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) – 17 U.S.C. § 512

  • The EU E-Commerce Directive (2000/31/EC), particularly its liability and notice-and-takedown provisions

  • Ireland’s Copyright and Related Rights Act 2000 (as amended)

How to Report Copyright Infringement

If you are a copyright holder (or an agent representing one) and believe that material published or linked on App-foxy infringes your rights, you may submit a formal takedown request. The notice must be in English and should include the following:

  1. A clear description of the copyrighted material you believe has been infringed.

  2. Specific URLs or descriptions of where the allegedly infringing content appears on our Website.

  3. Your contact information including your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.

  4. A declaration of good faith stating that you believe the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.

  5. A statement under penalty of perjury that the details provided are accurate and that you are the copyright holder or authorized to act on their behalf.

  6. Your physical or digital signature.

Notices can be submitted to us by email or post using the contact details below. We aim to confirm receipt within a reasonable time.

Review and Action

Once we receive a properly formatted and valid takedown request, our team will assess its legitimacy. If found valid, we will remove or disable the relevant links or content hosted on App-foxy. Please note:

  • We do not host apps or third-party files.

  • We do not have control over third-party websites (such as app stores). You should contact the platform owner directly if your complaint concerns content hosted elsewhere.

  • Our role is similar to that of a curated index – we provide descriptions and outbound links, not downloads.

Where appropriate, we will act in accordance with the DMCA and the E-Commerce Directive’s intermediary liability protections to promptly remove or block access to identified materials.

Mistaken or Improper Removal – Counter Notice

If you believe that your content has been removed or disabled in error, you may issue a written counter-notice to our designated agent. Please include:

  • Your name and contact details

  • A description or link to the material in question

  • A statement confirming your good-faith belief that the content was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification

  • Your physical or electronic signature

If your counter-notice is valid, and no court action is initiated within the required period, we may restore access to the content.
